Life can often feel overwhelming and the weight of being human with all of its experiences can be a lot to carry. I have long been drawn to the study of emotions, particularly from a neurological perspective, because they serve as signals, quietly (or loudly) revealing how we are doing on the inside. In therapy, my desire is to offer you a safe, steady space where you are truly seen and understood, and where together we can begin to uncover the root of what keeps you feeling stuck. From there, we can learn to navigate these difficult places with gentleness and courage, opening the way toward growth and healing.
My work is integrative, rooted in Rogerian Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I work with both adults through struggles with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family dynamics, relational conflict and repair, and the complex layers of trauma. Within this process, I help clients cultivate new ways of coping, deepen resilience, and discover practical strategies for facing fears, managing stress, and softening negative self-beliefs.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, but it doesn’t have to be, and I consider it a great privilege to walk alongside you in this journey of discovery and transformation. I am currently practicing under the supervision of Missy Terrell.
