rachel mernagh, mhc-lp

I am dedicated to providing a supportive, positive, and welcoming environment for individuals of all ages. My goal is to create a safe space where you can be heard and understood and work together to navigate life's challenges. When working with children and adolescents, I help my clients gain new coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills when facing fears, stressful situations, or negative self-image.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, with a strong foundation in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This evidence-based method focuses on the idea that our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors, allowing us to address and change unhelpful patterns. Together, we will identify and challenge core beliefs, clarify your values, and align your daily actions with what truly matters to you.

Starting therapy or finding a new therapist can be daunting. I hope to offer you support and encouragement in the process!
